branding

Before I bought my Ipod, I really wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend that money. As bad as I wanted one, it was 250 dollars, and that’s a nice amount of money to a college student. The brand name of the product is Apple. When I first think of an Ipod, I think of how cool I think they are, how small they are, how I can put movies and photos on the Ipod, how much space the Ipod has, and the different things I can use it on at my home. The thing that shaped my perception about and Ipod the most would definitely be seeing all my friends that have an Ipod and how much they love having them. They all told me that they really enjoy having it, and they are very convenient.

Some top ten things from brandtags.net

Amazing
Awesome
Beautiful

Computer
Cool
Creative

Expensive

The perception I have and the perception on brandtags.net are very similar. I feel the same way about the Apple Ipod. All 10 of these words apply to my perception of Apple Ipod. It’s just about exactly what I think about Apple and their Ipods.

Bud Light commercial

I really enjoyed the Bud Light commercial posted by Wandering Man. I really wasn't sure where it was going, but then it got pretty funny. It doesn't quite make me want a beer or anything, but it defnitely reminds me of funny things that happen when people are together socially drinking.

favorite ad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGKAVAAHdWc

This is a gatorade commercial that I just love. I really enjoy it because it is full of stars of the sports world, and I'm a huge fan of sports. There are a bunch of athletes throughout the commercial that I really have enjoyed learning about about watching. Initially, the music and the first person in the ad, Michael Jordan, are what catch my attention. I grew up loving MJ and what he did with the Bulls, so when I first saw the ad, it definitely had my attention. The ad really does not make me want Gatorade at all. I felt that the ad was really cool, that's all. I really don't think the ad is too effective because the commentator, Lil Wayne, is only talking about "G." Many people may not think of Gatorade, so the ad can mislead some viewers.

goals

For this semester, I would like to have great grades again. I had 3 A's and 2 B's last semester, and hopefully I'll be able to keep those up. I also would like to create great stories for my Radio and Television classes. My stories were put together pretty well, but I would like to do an even better job than that this semester.
